Shall I go to school today?

I wish I could go to school or pre-school like you do!  It must be such good fun.

I asked Sian and Roy if I could go to school and they said – that cats don’t go to school.

Maybe that is because cats are very clever without going to school?

What can I do that is clever?

I’m very good at balancing things on my head – as you can see……and it makes me stick my tongue out. Do you do that when your thinking hard?

What sort of things can I balance on my head….?

A vase of flowers. I think this makes me look like a princess. What do you think?

 

A green plant, which makes me look stupid.

 

A very big clock – and a plate – all at the same time! Quite tricky this was.

 

Then another of those horrible plants – this one tickles.

Can you do any of these clever things?

Perhaps you will learn to do these things at school so you can be as clever as me!

Sunday in my garden at Wind Whistle Cottage

I love going into my garden to take a little walk when the sun is shining.

I check everything in the garden is in the right place by sniffing it …..

… and rubbing it …..

…and swishing my tail against it.

Then I do some rolling on the warm bricks – first forwards -

… then backwards….

… then a long stretch ….

… and then I think …what shall I do next   …..?

This is my fluffy bum which I also think is very beautiful! What do you think?

This is why my mummy (Sian) sometimes calls me ‘fluffy bum’ instead of Callie.

It’s happy birthday time to Cara!

I’m sending this to you especially, Cara, to wish you a very happy birthday for 3rd September. I expect you will have some lovely presents from  Mummy and Daddy and also from Anna.

You will soon be as old as me! I’m eight but as you can see I look much younger – almost like a kitten! I don’t suppose you want to look like a kitten, do you Cara?

Here is a picture of me writing my blog to you as the birthday girl and also to Anna, Amelie, Bea and Freya.

When you’re as old as eight, you get very tired when you’ve worked so hard at writing on the computer. Poor me. I think I’ll take a nap.
